280th SHEFFIELD SCOUTS

SHEAF DITRICT CAMP 2026

Friday 1 May - Mon 4 May (3 nights)

The weekend will be full of activities and challenges based on the theme of "tbc".

CAMP KIT LIST

The following personal equipment is recommended and should be clearly labelled with the Scout’s name:-

Rucksack / Bag                  Sleeping Bag                      Sleeping Mat

Waterproof coat                  Warm sweater / Hoodie      T-shirts

Shorts / Trousers                  Underwear                          Socks     

Hike Boots / Strong shoes  Training shoes                     Towel

Swimwear                       Personal wash kit               (Sun cream)

Torch and batteries             Sleeping clothes                 (Midge spray)

Personal Drinks Bottle

Full uniform MUST be worn for travelling.

Note 1:  A supply of plastic bags is recommended to keep wet / dirty and dry clothes separate.

Note 2:  Blow up Air Beds and Camp Beds are not permitted as they take up too much room (self inflating sleeping mats are ok).

NORTON SUMMER CAMP 2026

Saturday 18 July - Sat 25 July (7 nights)

Throughout the week there will be a wide range of on-site activities and trips out organised to appeal to all the Scouts and be suitable for all ages.  The Scouts will be cooking and undertaking challenges throughout the week as part of the week competitions.
